The biggest pet industry trade show took place in Nurnberg on 11-14 May 2006. The event is organized every two years, this year it attracted over 1100 exhibitors from six continents. AQUAEL exhibited among the manufacturers of aquarium branch, it was the seventh INTERZOO trade show for the company (non-stop since 1994).

We presented well known and valued aquarium filters, heaters, oxygenators as well as complete aquarium sets. The chamber of silence, i.e. a soundproof, isolated room, that we constructed attracted great attention. Inside the chamber we installed all four models of our UNIMAX canister filters. Everyone could hear for themselves that the working filters are almost inaudible.

AQUAEL presented exceptionally many new products: ACTI, where next to products known to our Clients, we presented a line of liquids for aquarium maintenance and innovative plant substrates. Another innovative product is UNIFILTER UV – an internal filter that is equipped with ultraviolet LEDs installed in the impeller chamber. Thanks to this solution the device not only perfectly filters the water but also removes dangerous bacteria, protozoa and algae. Responding to our Clients’ needs we presented a composite heater designed to be installed inside the UNIMAX filters, a product that was expected for a long time.

The trade show in Nurnberg was also the premiere for a new line of internal BIO filters equipped e.g. with heaters. Furthermore one could see a microprocessor controller for electric devices AQUACONTROL, totally new aquarium sets with increased number of fluorescent lamps and unique, completely water tight and resistant to water influence lighting panels. We also presented new forms of resin rocks and aquarium backgrounds.

A prototype NANOREEF aquarium set also attracted the attention of visitors. It is a compact, completely equipped marine mini-aquarium. The product is a harbinger for a new series of products dedicated to the enthusiasts of salt-water aquariums, that will soon enter AQUAEL’s offer.

The equipment for cultivation of garden ponds was also exhibited on AQUAEL stand. Next to known and tested products one could see many novelties. Among them the ready pond COMPACT POND designed for installation in a garden, POND MODULE filter that can be freely expanded and new, powerful pond pumps and UV sterilizers attracted the most attention. PONDPLANT was a product that raised interest, as it is a universal strainer basket that is stylized to look similar to a cabbage. It provides huge suction surface and permeability for the pump.
