ULTRA FILTER was designed by an experienced team of Polish engineers and is manufactured in Suwalki, Poland. The high quality, for which Aquael products have been famous for nearly 40 years, guarantees the reliability and durability of the filter.
Convenience of use
The filtering elements and clever design mean that the filter rarely needs cleaning. A built-in hose shut-off valve ensures convenient use and maintenance. If there is a need, the valve can be completely closed. As a result, there is no need to refill the filter with water when performing various types of maintenance work. Self-priming of the filter The unit is also equipped with a patented self-priming system. You only need to make two to four movements with the plunger and the filter will fill with water.
Excellent performance
The high water flow rate through the filter (up to 264-370 US gal/h / 1000-1400 L/h) and the large volume of the filter (2.9-4.2 US gal / 11-16 L), combined with the high quality of the filter elements used, make it possible to achieve extremely efficient water filtration. This creates excellent conditions for growing plants and aquatic organisms. Any filter cartridge (biological, mechanical or chemical) can be used with the filter. Adjustable capacity allows you to easily change the flow rate to meet the needs of the aquarium.
Energy efficiency
The state-of-the-art, energy-efficient ULTRA FILTER motor ensures stable water flow through the filter media and lower energy consumption. Its power consumption is only at 12.9-14.8 watt. Extremely quiet operation – a ceramic impeller axis with vibration absorbers and unique pump design make the filter operate almost inaudibly. Therefore, the filter can be installed in any room, even in an office or bedroom.

Choose the right ULTRA filter model for your aquarium
If your aquarium has a capacity of up to 53 US gal / 200 liters, choose the ULTRA 1000. If you have a tank with a capacity of 42 to 79 US gal / 160 to 300 liters, opt for the ULTRA 1500. For aquariums between 69 and 159 US gal / 260 and 600 liters, the ULTRA 2000 will be the best choice.
Ultra filters are equipped with 3, 4 or 5 filter media trays with a capacity of 0.5 US gal / 1.9 L each, respectively.
