It consists of spheres with a diameter of approximately 30 mm, which have been manufactured using an innovative technology of combining ceramic microparticles. Recommended especially for large canister filters. Available in a 1 litre pack.
How does it work?
NANO MAX BIO spheres are characterised by a compact structure and high density, which makes them an excellent environment for the growth of beneficial nitrifying and denitrifying bacteria. With their impressive surface area of approximately 2,000 m2 per litre, these spheres provide the perfect conditions for the growth and proliferation of filter bacteria to effectively remove harmful substances from your aquarium water.
NANO MAX BIO can be successfully used in a variety of filter types and filtration systems, but due to its size, we particularly recommend it for large canister filters or sumps.
How long does it last?
The cartridge is not only extremely effective, but also extremely durable and resistant to the effects of both fresh and salt water. This allows you to enjoy long-lasting, reliable biological filtration in your aquarium, which has a significant impact on the health and well-being of your fish and the overall stability of the aquatic environment. Cleaning of the cartridge consists of rinsing it in aquarium water. It is recommended to partially replace approximately 50% of the cartridge every 4-6 months.
