A small but powerful filter
Our Turbo Mini filter has been specially developed for the comfort and safety of small animals living in small freshwater tanks.
Thanks to its head design, it has a capacity of 320 l/h, which is optimally suited to the size of small tanks. There is a slider on the front of the head to control the output. This allows this parameter to be adjusted to the needs of each aquarist and prevents the water from becoming too ‘swirly’ in smaller tanks.
The filter is also equipped with a directional tip, which takes care of directing the water flow according to your preferences. You can limit the water current in the aquarium by directing it, for example, against the tank wall or shallow underwater to create ripples.
The Turbo Mini is equipped with an aeration tube that is connected to the outlet nozzle. The water in your tank will always be properly oxygenated.
Effective mechanical filtration
The sponge included in the Turbo Mini filter effectively and efficiently filters mechanically. It will pick up even the smallest impurities from the water, and will also be an ideal substrate for the settlement of strains of beneficial nitrifying bacteria. The structure of the carefully selected sponge is so dense that you can safely place it in a tank with shrimps or small fish.
You will install the device very easily thanks to a handle with a strong suction cup. Maintenance of the filter sponge will also prove to be trivial and will only take a few tens of seconds.
Energy saving
The pump in the Turbo Mini filter uses very little electricity, which is good for your wallet. The motor only consumes 4.4 watts of electricity. The aquarium does not generate high costs, so you can use the savings for the development of your breeding, for example.
Additional accessories for the Turbo Mini
You can supplement the Turbo Mini with a range of accessories, thus increasing the possibilities that this filter offers. The unit works in conjunction with the Sprinkler, which will ensure that the water is evenly distributed and optimally oxygenated.
You can attach the Mini UV sterilizer to the filter. The sterilizer will remove algae from the water, prevent it from turning green, kill pathogenic bacteria, which in turn protects the fish from disease and prevents the water from becoming cloudy.
Replacement sponge cartridges of different densities are also available.
