NEO SET was created for people who want to set up an impressive aquarium without spending time searching for and comparing essential equipment. The filter, heater and two lighting modules are already included, and their parameters have been carefully selected for the capacity of each model.
This makes choosing an aquarium simpler and lets you move more quickly to selecting plants, substrate, decorations and tank inhabitants. The set includes everything required to establish an efficiently operating aquarium, without having to assemble its most important components separately.
A cost-effective set that saves money and time
NEO SET is a cost-effective solution both at the time of purchase and during everyday use. The LED lighting keeps electricity consumption low, while the filter’s energy-efficient operation helps reduce power use. The option to expand the lighting also lets you develop the aquascape without replacing the entire cover or aquarium set.
When choosing NEO SET, capacity does not have to be your only criterion. Each model has different proportions, allowing you to decide whether a shallow depth, compact footprint, greater height or a long tank for a panoramic aquascape matters most.
Compact dimensions and stable construction – NEO SET 125 and 130
NEO SET 125 has a capacity of 125 litres (33 US gal) and measures 81 × 36 × 51 cm (31.9 × 14.2 × 20.1 in). Its elongated shape and shallow depth provide a broad view of the aquascape even where space is limited. With a capacity of 130 litres (34 US gal) and dimensions of 61 × 41 × 61 cm (24.0 × 16.1 × 24.0 in), NEO SET 130 is the narrowest and tallest model, ideal for compositions that make use of the tank’s height. The glass thickness is respectively: 6 mm (front) and 5 mm (back and sides) – 0.24, 0.20 in – in the 125 model, and 8 mm (front) and 6 mm (back and sides) – 0.31, 0.24 in – in the 130 model. Both sets are equipped with a Neo Bio 1000 filter with two filtration modules and a 150 W Platinium Heater. Model 125 includes two 14 W lighting modules, while model 130 has two 10 W modules.

More room for your aquarium passion – NEO SET 200 and 240
NEO SET 200 has a capacity of 200 litres (53 US gal) and measures 101 × 41 × 56 cm (39.8 × 16.1 × 22.0 in), offering plenty of space for elaborate aquascapes. With a capacity of 240 litres and dimensions of 121 × 41 × 56 cm (47.6 × 16.1 × 22.0 in), NEO SET 240 (63 US gal) is the largest model in the range and makes it possible to create impressive panoramic compositions. Both sets have 8 mm front and 6 mm side and rear panes – 0.31, 0.24 in – as well as a Neo Bio 1000 filter with three filtration modules. Model 200 is equipped with a 200 W heater and two 14 W lighting modules, while model 240 includes a 250 W heater and two 17 W modules.

Neo Bio 1000 – versatile filtration
Every NEO SET is equipped with a Neo Bio 1000 internal corner filter with a flow rate of 1000 l/h (264 US gal/h). The device combines mechanical, biological and optional chemical filtration, helping maintain clean water and stable conditions in the aquarium.
Mechanical filtration helps trap visible debris suspended in the water. Biological filtration provides space for beneficial bacteria involved in the transformation of nitrogen compounds. The option to use suitable filter media also makes it possible to supplement the filter with chemical filtration.
The corner design helps make efficient use of space in the aquarium. The filter sits against the tank walls, leaving more room for the aquascape, plants and decorations.
The modular design allows the filtration surface area to be increased. NEO SET 125 and 130 each include one additional module, while the larger NEO SET 200 and 240 include two additional modules each. The space available for filter media is therefore matched to the capacity of each tank.
Platinium Heater – stable temperature in the aquarium
The output of the electronic Platinium Heater is matched to each NEO SET version.
The fully electronic thermostat helps maintain a stable water temperature. The ceramic heat sink distributes heat evenly, while temperature control accuracy of 0.4°C ( 0.7°F) helps create suitable and repeatable conditions for the aquarium inhabitants.
Matching the heater output to the capacity of each model means the user does not have to select a heater independently or check whether it is suitable for the chosen tank.
Leddy Tube Day & Night – light in the rhythm of day and night
Every NEO SET includes two energy-efficient Leddy Tube Day & Night lighting modules. The lighting displays the aquascape beautifully, enhances the natural colours of the fish and provides suitable conditions for plants.
Three operating modes – SUNNY, DAYBREAK and NIGHT – allow the light to be adapted to different times of day. SUNNY provides the main daytime lighting. DAYBREAK creates softer illumination for the beginning or end of the day, while NIGHT lets you observe the aquarium after dark in subtle night-time light.
The modules can be moved along their supports to illuminate selected areas of the tank more effectively. They can also be removed easily when cleaning the aquarium or working on the aquascape.
Smart Open cover – convenient everyday operation
The integrated cover with the Smart Open system makes everyday fish feeding, aquarium maintenance and aquascaping easier. Its design allows the cover panel and the lighting frame to be lifted conveniently, providing wide access to the inside of the tank.
This makes it easier to trim plants, adjust decorations, clean the glass and perform basic servicing. The lighting modules can be moved or removed so that they do not obstruct the work.
The cover also has a separate feeding flap, so there is no need to open the entire cover during daily feeding.
Automatic feeding option
All NEO SET models are compatible with the Aquael Feeder BT automatic feeder. The device can be installed in place of the feeding flap and used to dispense accurately measured portions of food at regular intervals.
This solution is useful both for everyday aquarium care and during short absences. It helps reduce the risk of overfeeding and supports regular feeding times.
Matching bottom frame
Every NEO SET model is equipped with a matching bottom frame. It protects the bottom of the tank, helps position the aquarium securely and neatly conceals the lower edge of the glass.
The black finish of the frame creates a cohesive look with the cover and emphasises the set’s modern design. At the same time, the dark structural elements provide a neutral background for the plants, fish and decorations inside the aquarium.
Expand your aquarium when needed
The two Leddy Tube Day & Night modules included as standard let you begin creating the aquascape without any additional purchases. Once the aquarium is running, it is worth observing plant growth before deciding whether to expand the lighting. The lighting system can be expanded to a total of 8–9 Leddy Tube Day & Night modules, depending on the model.
Additional modules can be installed when required by the selected plant species, denser planting or a more advanced aquascape. This keeps initial costs and energy consumption lower while retaining the option to develop the aquarium further.
