Modular construction – the filter grows with your aquarium
One of the biggest advantages of the MULTIKANI 1000 is its expandability. The standard set includes one 1.3 L chamber — enough space for both mechanical and biological or chemical filtration.
A standout feature is the ability to expand the system up to four filter chambers, dramatically increasing filtration volume. This is perfect for tanks with large fish populations or demanding plant setups.
Each chamber can be filled with any Aquael filtration media, such as BioCeraMAX, ZeoMAX Plus, CarboMAX, sponges, or filter wool. This allows precise adjustment to the type of aquarium you maintain — planted, general community, biotope-specific, or setups requiring crystal-clear water.
Efficient and energy-saving performance
The MULTIKANI 1000 features a pump with a maximum output of 1000 L/h, ensuring effective water cleaning even in larger tanks up to 400 liters.
Despite its performance, the filter remains highly economical — consuming only 9.1 W, making it budget-friendly for long-term use.
Its quiet operation ensures comfort even in rooms where the aquarium is placed near a living or sleeping area.

Expand the system with additional filter chambers
The MULTIKANI 1000 main module forms the foundation of a flexible filtration system that can be adapted to changing aquarium requirements. Up to three additional filter chambers can be connected, creating a system with a total of four chambers and significantly increasing the available space for mechanical, biological or chemical filter media.
Each additional chamber provides 1.3 L of media capacity and can be configured independently using selected Aquael filtration media. This makes it easy to improve biological filtration, add activated carbon or zeolite, or increase mechanical filtration without replacing the entire filter. Additional chambers are available separately.

Le module principal MULTIKANI 1000 constitue la base d’un système de filtration flexible, capable de s’adapter à l’évolution des besoins de l’aquarium. Il est possible d’y raccorder jusqu’à trois compartiments filtrants supplémentaires, afin de créer un système comprenant au total quatre compartiments et d’augmenter considérablement l’espace disponible pour les masses filtrantes mécaniques, biologiques ou chimiques.
Chaque compartiment supplémentaire offre une capacité de 1,3 l pour les masses filtrantes et peut être configuré indépendamment à l’aide des masses filtrantes Aquael sélectionnées. Il devient ainsi facile de renforcer la filtration biologique, d’ajouter du charbon actif ou de la zéolite, ou encore d’améliorer la filtration mécanique sans remplacer l’ensemble du filtre. Les compartiments supplémentaires sont disponibles séparément.
