Intelligent temperature monitoring for aquarium and terrarium AQUAEL THERMOMETER BT is the first electronic thermometer fully controlled through the dedicated Aquael BT mobile application. It is designed for wide use – perfect for freshwater and marine aquariums as well as terrariums with lower water levels. The device features dual temperature sensors that measure both the water temperature inside the tank and the ambient temperature outside. This ensures high measurement accuracy and reliability. The supported temperature range is 0–50 °C.

The dedicated application stores all recorded data and displays it on a clear, precise graph. Thanks to customizable min/max thresholds, the app instantly sends push notifications whenever the temperature goes outside the set limits. This gives aquarists full insight into daily temperature fluctuations and immediate awareness of any irregularities – allowing fast response when needed.

Advanced functionality

Via Bluetooth 5.0 connection, users can easily set the desired minimum and maximum temperature range directly in the app. The thermometer logs temperature data every 20 minutes, making it simple to track and analyze environmental conditions for optimal water or terrarium health.

A functional LED indicator is located on the housing. It shows device status: readiness, Bluetooth connection, and – with pulsing colors – alerts when temperature limits are exceeded.

Design and installation

The compact unit (11.4 × 3.0 cm) attaches securely to the glass with a strong suction cup. Its black color blends discreetly into the background and does not distract from the underwater layout. The thermometer is powered via USB-C, giving flexibility in choosing the power source.

How to use Thermometer BT?

Place the main body on the outside of the tank using the suction cup. Insert the internal sensor into the water – position it away from heaters or other heat sources, in an area with good water flow. Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile device, download the Aquael BT app, and pair the devices. The app interface is clean, intuitive, and easy to navigate.
